NewsStand's executive team combines more than a century of experience in successful companies such as Analog Devices, CBS MarketWatch, CareerBuilder.com, Compaq Computer Corporation, San Francisco Chronicle, Intelliquest, TippingPoint Technologies, Xerox and Ziff Davis.

Kit Webster, President and CEO
Kit Webster, President , Chief Executive Officer, has been a senior manager in technological, entrepreneurial, and high growth companies for over 35 years. Most recently he was President, Chief Operating Officer, and acting Chief Financial Officer of TippingPoint Technologies, a publicly-held company based in Austin, Texas, where he was instrumental in leading the company through a strategic and financial redirection. Mr. Webster has also held executive positions with publicly-held companies in Austin such as IntelliQuest, Ross Technologies, and The Continuum Company. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Masters of Electrical Engineering degree from Rice University.

Craig Miller, GM LibreDigital, Director of Business Development
Mr. Miller’s responsibilities include management of the LibreDigital Division and NewsStand corporate business development. He has more than 17 years experience in strategic product development and marketing in the hi-tech sector including seven years in business development management for Internet-based technology companies. A proven builder and leader of dynamic teams, his strengths include creating technology solutions for new channels and applications, concept-to-sale project management and contract sales and negotiations. Prior to NewsStand, Craig was U.S. Director of Marketing and Business Development for Munich-based DynaPel - advancing motion enabled MPEG4 CODECs in the security, video and graphics industry. He served as the Head of Engineering for STB’s Specialized Technology Division, creating multi-port graphics cards and video decoders including the TV Guide Channel’s broadcast-quality MPEG2 board, was Analog Device’s Graphics Products Marketing Manager, and served on Compaq’s Strategic Technology Development engineering team. Craig has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Houston Executive Program.

Billy Taylor, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Taylor is a software veteran with over 25 years experience in systems and software development, systems integration, software quality assurance and customer support. Mr. Taylor has held technical leadership roles for the past ten years, yet maintains an active, "hands-on" role in software design and development. Prior to NewsStand, Mr. Taylor held managerial and director positions in operations, software development, and R&D at 3dfx, S3, Analog Devices and FutureSoft Engineering. He also spent over nine years at Compaq Computer Corporation as a senior software developer, manager of BIOS development and manager of EISA configuration software Q/A. Mr. Taylor is the author of two books, C/C++ Programmer's Guide to Using PC BIOS and C/C++ Programmer's Guide to Using MS-DOS, and holds U.S. and Euro patents on various aspects of his software innovations.

Carla M. Quinn, Chief Financial Officer
Carla Quinn joined GenBand in June of 2000. Prior to GenBand, Carla was the Corporate Controller for two publicly traded companies: Hotels.com (formerly Hotel Reservations Network, Inc.), a NASDAQ company providing hotel accommodations via the Intranet, and TriStar Aerospace Co., a NYSE company which distributed aerospace fasteners and hardware. Prior to Hotels.com and TriStar Aerospace Co., she held management positions at Interstate Battery Systems of America Inc. and Ernst & Young KL Real Estate Group (formerly Kenneth Leventhal and Co., a public accounting firm). While Corporate Controller for both private and public companies, Carla participated in two successful IPOs and her experience has included merger and acquisition work, private placements, and public securities compliance. Carla received a B.B.A. from Southwest Texas State University and is a CPA in the State of Texas.
